I am glad to discuss here on sexual Dysfunction among common Indians.
Most of the patients for sexual consultation are Bachelor males without any previous sexual exposure.

BEFORE TREATMENT-4 This is to share my recent successful entry of a Chronic psoriasis patient.
The patient is 33 yrs male, owning a provision shop.
He is suffering from terrible skin disease called Psoriasis.
Duration of visible skin lesion was for 10 years approx- which originated from the scalp.
He was diagnosed as psoriasis, only after the severe body spread followed by a viral infection.
More than 90% of his body surface including palms ,soles and Nails were affected.
He suffered with intolerable itching in the body lesion, difficulty in walking due to cracked and infected foot and mental depression.
He was under regular consultation with a leading dermatologist with external application like lotion along with steroids and anti allergic medicine internally for more than 9 years.
He was not responding with the minimum doses of steroids later, and was committed to increase the dose grossly.
Even after the treatment his skin lesion was not responding but he could not terminate the terrible steroid dosage in order to control his intolerable itching and pain.
He developed Type-2 Diabetes mellitus and Cataract with hepato –spleno meglai followed by the treatment.
He was referred to me for Siddha treatment by one of my colleagues.
The patient consulted me at my clinic before 3 months as a new patient.
He was really looked pathetic and could not sit freely in a position due to itching and irritation
His commitment was shocking that he developed suicidal tendency recently.
I have decided to treat with specially made Siddha medicines for his critical problem and gave active counseling for his mental instability.
Now after 60 days of treatment , the patient recovered from his severe symptoms dramatically.
He is 100% free from his symptoms now and under my observation and treatment.
He is strictly advised to continue the treatment for at least 6 months to prevent severe aggravations.

INTORDUCTION:

Bed wetting or ENURESIS is known as the inability to control urinating in the bed during day or night.
Here we deal with involentery urination during sleep at night medically named as "nocturnal enuresis".
This may occur every night or weekly twice or thrice.
Bed wetting cannot be considered abnormal until the age of 5yrs and medical attention will be required if the problem persists over the year of 5.
Bed wetting makes psycho-social problem to the child that the child is frequently teased by others even by parents.
These children also face the difficulty to sleep with their friends and relatives.
Though paediatricians do not consider this as a serious problem,this is a common irritative problem in many families with anxious expectation for a cure.

COMMON CAUSES:

Bed wetting is considered as a developmental delay in the normal process of neurological control of urination.
Genetics play a major role in this condition that majority of victims have enuretic mother or Father .
Anti-Diuretic Hormone (ADH) also known as Vasopressin is responsible to slow down the production of urine during sleep which is low in the victims causing bed wetting.
Other reasons for bedwetting include spinal cord lesions, constipation, anxity, Urinary tract infections, Diabetes, Kidney diseases, anatomically small urinary bladder.

SYMPTOMS:

The symptom in bed wetting is urinating in the bed at night atleast twice per month.
The child find the bed is wet while he/she wakes up.
Pain may be felt during urination associated with urinary tract infections.
Some of the following symptoms may present in the day time include wetting in the day, increased frequency of urination, burning, urgency, dribbling, constipation.

DIAGNOSIS:
There is no specific investigation which find out the exact cause of Bed wetting, But the following investigations can be done to get a better diagnosis.
1.X-Ray KUB
2.Ultrasonogram KUB
3.Routine Urine test.
These investigations help to find out whether the patient is suffering from kidney diseases , bladder diseases like Bladder instability or Urinary Tract Infections.
Uro-dynamics study is done to evaluate the bladder and urethral sphincter function in accordance with the brain and spinal cord during filling and emptying of bladder.
The following points should be remembered in diagnosis.

Family history with reference to the problem
Duration of problem -childhood or recent,
Aggravating factors like food and activities,
Other symptoms like pain or difficulty when urinating, History of Stress and anxity in the child.

COMPLICATIONS:
There are no significant physical complications in bed wetting but the children tends to be Guilty and some go for Psycho somatic problems.
PREVENTION:

Give moral support and assurance to your child as it a very common problem which can be corrected in practice.
Don't try to punish.
Train the child for regular toileting and keep not to hold urine for long time.
Make sure urinating before going bed.
Avoid drinking excess fluids few hours before going to sleep but not restrict plenty of fluids in the day time.
Reward your child for dry nights.
Let the child to note bed wetting in a chart or diary which will help the child aware.
Bed wetting alarms can be used. This alarm wakes the child or parent when the child start urinating which help to use toilet.

IN MY CLINICAL PRACTICE:

In my routine practice, bed wetting cases are not so common.
Many parents share their children's bed wetting history during their own health checkups.
It's a great pleasure to know that most of the parents take this problem easy which indicate the public awareness regarding the same.
Some of illiterate parents give grievous punishments to their children for bed wetting due to their ignorance but feel sorry after knowing the fact.
I have treated some of bed wetting cases successfully with Siddha medicine.
The said cases are with the age group of 8-10 years also indicated for treatment by
concerned medical experts.
Few of them were under treatment for previous months from paediatrician.
Response to Siddha medicine in such cases are excellent and miraculous. It is a great thing that all the patients have got satisfactory results within 4 weeks treatment.

Menstrual problem and Uterine disorders are very common today.
Females without any one of such problems is very rare nowadays.
Primary and secondary amenorrhea,Female Infertility,Hirsutism, chronic an-ovulation ,PCOD,Endometriosis and adenomyosis,Sexually Transmitted Infections,Benign and malignant tumors of genital tract, genital prolapse,menopausal disturbances are some among them.
In most instances these problems need not to be treated.
But it should be investigated carefully to rule out whether it needs medical attention.
Ovarian cyst is one among them which need medical care.

What is Ovary?

Ovaries are egg or Ovum producing reproductive organ present in females.
Ovaries in females are homologous to testes in males.
The term 'GONADS' refers to Ovaries in females and testes in males.
It measure approximately 3 cm x 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm. Pair of Ovaries are located on each side of the Uterus.

What is Ovarian Cyst?

An ovarian cyst is any collection of fluid, surrounded by a very thin wall, within an ovary.
Any ovarian follicle that is larger than about two centimeters is termed an ovarian cyst.
The size of Ovarian cyst may differ small to big.
Most ovarian cysts are functional in nature, and harmless.Some ovarian cysts cause problems, such as bleeding and pain.
Ovarian cysts larger than 5 cm diameter are advised to remove surgically by Gynaecologists.

Types of cysts:

Ovarian cysts can be categorized as non-cancerous or cancerous growths.
All of the following conditions are noncancerous, A woman may develop one or more of them.

1.Follicular cyst: One type of simple cyst, which is the most common type of ovarian cyst,This type can form when ovulation doesn't occur, and a follicle doesn't rupture or release its egg but instead grows until it becomes a cyst, or when a mature follicle involute (collapses on itself).

2.Corpus lutetium cyst: One type of simple cyst, which is the most common type of ovarian cyst.This type of functional cyst occurs after an egg has been released from a follicle. The follicle then becomes a secretory gland that is known as the corpus luteum.

3.Hemorrhagic cyst: which is also called a blood cyst, hematocele, and hematocyst

4.Dermoid cyst: This is an abnormal cyst that usually affects younger women and may grow to 6 inches in diameter. It is a type of benign tumor sometimes referred to as mature cystic teratoma.

5.Endometrioid cyst or Chocolate cyst,Endometrial cyst, or chocolate cyst is caused by endometriosis, and formed when a tiny patch of endometrial tissue (the mucous membrane that makes up the inner layer of the uterus)

6.Poly cystic-appearing ovary:Poly cystic-appearing ovary is diagnosed based on its enlarged size - usually twice that of normal - with small cysts present around the outside of the ovary. This condition can be found in "normal" women, and in women with endocrine disorder.

CAUSES:

Oral contraceptive/birth control pill use decreases the risk of developing ovarian cysts because they prevent the ovaries from producing eggs during ovulation.

The following are possible risk factors for developing ovarian cysts:

History of previous ovarian cysts Menstrual irregulations.
Fatty upper body
Early menstruation (11 years or younger)
Infertility
Hypothyroidism or hormonal imbalance.
Anti Cancer treatment for Breast.

CLINICAL FEATURES:

Usually ovarian cysts do not produce any symptoms and are found during a routine physical examination.
However,some or all of the following symptoms may be present,Dull aching, or severe, sudden, and sharp pain or discomfort in the lower abdomen (one or both sides),
Constant or intermittent pain in the pelvis, vagina, lower back, or thighs
Most common symptom Fullness, heaviness, pressure, swelling, or bloating in the abdomen
Breast tenderness Pain during or shortly after beginning or end of menstrual period.
Irregular periods, or abnormal uterine bleeding or spotting
Urination difficulties (such as inability to fully empty the bladder),
Difficulty with bowel movements due to pressure effect rectum or large Bowell.
Weight gain
Nausea or vomiting
Fatigue
Infertility
Increased level of hair growth.
Increased facial hair or body hair

INVESTIGATIONS:

Endovaginal ultrasoundOther imaging.
CT and MRI scanning
Laparoscopic surgery
Serum CA-125 assay (Diagnostic test for Ovarian Cancer)
Hormone levels (LH, FSH, estradiol, and testosterone levels)
Pregnancy test.

TREATMENT:

About 95% of ovarian cysts are benign, mean they are not cancerous.
Treatment for cysts depends on the size of the cyst and symptoms.
For small, asymptomatic cysts, the wait and see approach with regular check-ups can be advised.
Pain caused by ovarian cysts may be treated with-pain relievers, including acetaminophen, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs ,or narcotic pain medicine.
A warm bath, or heating pad, or hot water bottle applied to the lower abdomen near the ovaries can relax tense muscles and relieve cramping,
chamomile herbal tea can reduce ovarian cyst pain and soothe tense muscles,urinating as soon as the urge presents itself.
Avoiding constipation, which does not cause ovarian cysts but may further increase pelvic discomfort.
In diet, eliminating caffeine and alcohol, reducing sugars, increasing foods rich in vitamin A and carotenoids (e.g., carrots, tomatoes, and salad greens) and B vitamins Combined methods of hormonal contraception such as the combined oral contraceptive pill

IN MY CLINICAL PRACTICE:

I am treating Ovarian cyst patients with specially made Siddha medicines.
Siddha medicine gives excellent reuslts in treating female disorders including ovarian cysts, PCOS. fibroid uterus , female infertility ,and irregular menstrual periods including ammenorhoea.

CERVIX CANCER- SIDDHA HEALS....!!! "MY BITTER EXPERIANCE"

This is about one of my delightful cases in my medical practice .
The patient was an old woman of age65.
She consulted me with her daughter before 5years(2003) with the following problems.

1.foul smelling and

2.blood stained vaginal discharge

3.pain in the low back and abdomen

4.anaemia

5.loss of appetite and

6.weight loss.

I have suspected malignant disorder (cancer).
The patient seek ed remedy only for her foul smelling vaginal discharge.
She also requested, not to treat her other existing problems.
As this type of request is common among Indian people especially in woman,I neglected her request as usual and advised to consult the nearby Gynaecologist to rule out malignant disease.

*Ultra sound scanning,

*Pap smear test

*Per-vaginal examination(PV)

*biopsy -were carried out.

Finally she was diagnosed as CANCER CERVIX STAGE-3 (INVASION UP TO POSTERIOR 1/3 OF VAGINA)

The Gynaecologist suggested that,the patient was in critical condition.
She also explained about the risk of surgery at that time.(DOING SURGERY IN STAGE-3 MAY AGGRAVATE THE SEVERITY OF DISEASE) and advised to treat her conservatively for some more years.
The life-span of the old woman was declared for few more years to her family members.(Five-year survival rates are about 40%.as per text book of onchology).
The patient consulted me again and discussed about cure in Siddha treatment.
I have given my open reply that I could only treat the patient, but not assure a little.
As there was no more effective treatment options even in other systems, they started Siddha medicine.
I have treated her with effective anti-tumour drugs said as per ancient Siddha literature.
Remarkable results, the patient got in the very first 15 days itself.
The expected result of the patient which was the foul smell disappeared in 15 days.
Gradually the other symptoms came down in the course.
The patient got wonderful response after 3 months of treatment and began to do her routine works as earlier.
Excessive vaginal discharge was completely nil after treatment.
The patient was in un-expected pleasure.
I advised her to continue medicines and haemetenics for some more months to get maximum results.
Also suggested the patient to re-check and consult the Gynaecologist I've previously referred.
But the patient collapsed my expectation and not agreed to go for further checkups.

Totally I forgot the patient then.
I was really surprised on seeing the same patient last week at my consultation room with her daughter after 5 years.
"SHE IS ALIVE YET".
Now the patient is good looking and gained some weight also.
Nobody can say now that she is a cancer patient.
I have asked about her health.She answered with happy to all of my questions.
Now "she is again having increased vaginal discharge- mixed with blood" since a month.
No more foul smell at all now.

CERVICAL SPONDYLOSIS "SIDDHA-HEALS"

Cervical spondylosis is a disorder of cervical spine characterised by increasing degeneration of the inter-vertebral disc with subsequent changes in the bones and soft tissues.

Spondylosis is usually asymptomatic.
Symptoms are usually a manifestation of encroachment on local neural elements such as cervical nerve roots, spinal cord,vertebral artery or sympathetic nerves.
The signs and symptoms deponds upon the severity of compression and the structures being compressed.

CAUSES:

The primary cause is the degenerative changes in the inter-vertebral disc with increasing age.
The genetic factors ,metabolic factors ,manual labour are some important factors causing degeneration of the intervertebral discs.
Degeneration of the inter-vertebral disc occures secondary to Osteo-arthritis,Rheumatoid arthritis,Metastatic carcinoma or lymphomas,either in the bone or vertebral column or in TB spine.
Injuries such as automobile accidents with "Whiplash" injury ,atheletic injury and sudden jerks on the arms during fall down.
Outgrowths of bone that sometimes occur with aging.

COMMON SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS:

Most of the patients suffer eigther Radiculopathy or Myelopathy symptoms.
Radiculopathy symptoms (compression of nerve roots originated from the cervical region) include,Pain in the neck-radiating to the shoulder,biceps,top of the shoulders ,upper arms and hands or back of the head.Crunching sounds while moving the neck or shoulder muscles.
Numbness and tingling sensation in the arms,hands and fingers-some loss of feeling in the hands and impairment of reflexes.
Muscle weakenss and deteriorationNeck stiffnessHead ache.

Myelopathy symptoms: (compression of spinal cord within the spinal canal) includeDizziness and unsteady gait in the earlier stage and loss of bladder control,leg weakness & Paraplegia with advanced stages.

IN SIDDHA SYSTEM:

Cervical spondylosis is compared with Saganavatham in Siddha sysyem of medicine.
Saganavatham is one among the 'VATHA DISEASE' described in the anciant Siddha text "YUGI MUNIVAR VAIDHYA SINTHAMANY-800".
It is a condition dealing with the involvement of pain in the neck and upper limbs ,heaviness of the body ,depression ,giddiness ,burning eyes and constipation.

REVIEWE OF SIDDHA LITERATURES:

All these literature were written around 2000BC.
The causative factors for SAGANAVATHAM are clearly described by various authers in our ancient Siddha literatures.

In the ancient text "Yugi vaidhya sindhamani" , the following causes are given as follows.

1.Consumption of bitter,astringent,pungent foods in excess

2. Consumption of previously cooked foods.

3.Drinking polluted water.

4.Altered sleep rythm.

5.Starvation.

6.Lifting heavy weights.

7.Excessive lust/sexual abuse.

8.Living in chill environments.

See all the above factors which affect normal health and enhance degeneration.

In "Agathiyar Gunavagadam" also a famous Siddha literature, the following causes are given:

1.Diseases of the vertebral column and spinal cord

2.Diseases of muscle.

3.Menorrhogia

4.Mercurial poisoning

5.Lead poisoning

See the above factors which directly affect the normal bone formation.

Beyond all above- the ancient Siddha Saints express moral education and give allert to the mankind to be honest.

In "Agathiyar Kanma Kaandam" and "Yugi vaidhya sindhamani", the following points are also discussed:

1.Cutting trees,tender leaves.

2.Breaking the legs of animals.

3.Abusing Parents / elderly people /Holy Saints.

4.Destroying public properties

5.Doing murder / theft / lustful activities

6.Refuse food & help to the destitutes and poors.

There is a spiritual belief in our country Inida, that doing certain illegal things will affect their coming generations as un-curable diseses.
All of us know that, there are somany diseases which cannot be cured perfectly.
Siddha Saints express the above reasons as the cause for certain un-diagnosed severe diseases.
Though this overcome the basic logics,Siddha Saints advise for a peaceful world.

Low back pain is a common problem among people.
Majority of the sufferers usually seek 'PAIN CLINICS' for relief.
But it should be noticed if the pain radiates to the leg.
It may be SCIATICA.

WHAT IS SCIATICA?

Sciatic nerve is the largest nerve in the body and controls the muscles of the back of thigh, knee and lower leg and provides sensation.
Sciatica is a form of peripheral neuropathy with symptoms associated with low back pain with shooting pain down the leg.
Sciatica is a set of symptoms including pain or irritation of one of five nerve roots that give rise to the sciatic nerve.
The pain is felt in the lower back, buttock, back of thigh,back of knee joint (popleteal area),back side of leg up to heel and foot.In addition to pain,there may be numbness, muscular weakness, and difficulty in moving or controlling the leg.
Sciatic pain symptoms are felt only on one side of the body.
The treatment for sciatica or sciatic symptoms will often be different, depending upon the underlying cause of the symptoms.

WHAT IS THE CAUSE FOR PAIN ?

Compression of the sciatic nerve causes pain.
Depending upon the severity of nerve compression,symptoms occur-sometimes causing permanent damage to the nerve.
Sciatica is generally caused by the compression of lumbar nerves L4 or L5 or sacral nerves S1, S2 or S3.

CAUSES:

The usual causes are direct trauma such as injection injury,fractures of the pelvis, gunshot wounds, or other trauma to the buttocks or thigh.
prolonged external pressure on the nerve, and pressure on the nerve from nearby body structures.
Prolonged sitting or lying with pressure on the buttocks may also injure it.
Systemic diseases, such as diabetes, can typically damage sciatic nerve.
Pressure from masses such as a tumor or abscess nearby the nerve may also cause harm to sciatic nerve.
Leading causes for Sciatica are Lumbar Bulging or Herniated Disc,Lumbar Spinal stenosis,Piriformis syndrome,Sacroilia joint dysfunction,Spondylolisthesis.Spinal tumours.

INVESTIGATIONS:

These tests include:

Spinal X-ray,
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI),
Computerised tomography(CT-scan)

COMPLICATIONS:

sciatica can potentially cause permanent nerve damage.
Depending on what's causing the nerve to be compressed, other complications may occur, including Loss of feeling in the affected leg Loss of movement in the affected leg Loss of bowel or bladder function

TREATMENT:

Most of the sciatic cases respond to "self care measures" such as hot packs,stretching, exercise and pain relievers.

Beyond this self-care measures the following procedures also employed.

1.Prescription drugs:Anti-inflammatory medication along with a muscle relaxant,Narcotics,Tricyclic antidepressants and anti-convulsant drugs are being used for pain relief.

2.Physical therapy:Rehabilitation therapy typically includes exercises to help correct the posture, strengthen the muscles supporting our back and improve our flexibility.

3.Epidural Steroid Injection:It is used for resistant cases also in some sports injuries.

4.Acupuncture:

This is originated from China and used to relieve pain by stimulating certain vital points in the body with it's specific needle.

5.Yoga therapy:Some postures in Yoga give special effects to the sciatic pain also minimise recurrance.

6.Surgery:

It is carried out in significant progressive weakness,and incontinence of the bowel & urine or failure with other treatments.

7.Medical cannabis to control pain: This is use of the Cannabis sativa plant as a physician-recommended herbal therapy. So far, the medical use of cannabis is legal only in a limited number of territories, including Canada, Belgium, Australia, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Spain, and some U.S. states.

SIDDHA TREATMENT:

Vatha diseases or Rheumatic diseases are treated initially with laxatives and the internal medicine is then administered.
Some specialised medicines are being used for this laxative procedures which are also direct medicine for painful conditions.
Both internal and external medicines are used for Spinal diseases as well as Sciatica.
Massage with medicated oil which is a part of "THOKKANAM" is employed for Sciatica with very good results.
Other "THOKKANAM" method "TRACTION" is even now employed by the modern physiotherapist in the name of ELECTRONIC TRACTION.
Treatment is given as per the physical condition and severity of individual patients.

"URINARY BLADDER DISEASE" SIDDHA CURES. Is that patient LUCKY ???????

I am sharing my, experience regarding one of my patients who has relieved from his difficult urinary symptoms and the bad experience during the course of treatment.
The patient is 48years male.
He is working as a building worker in Soudhi Arabia.
He used to avoid passing urine while working, in the previous years.
Gradually some urinary problem developed to him.
In due course, he was not able to control his urine for even 30 minutes.
He felt pain in the lower abdomen and urethra up to Testes ,when his urinary bladder was partially filled.
He had to pass urine more frequently during his routine works in the day time and at night.
He consulted the physicians there and was diagnosed as a mass in the Urinary bladder.
Immediately he was urged for biopsy.
The patient was not willing to continue treatment in Arabia and returned home-India for treatment.

The patient consulted me at my clinic and has reported the following Clinical features:
*Pain in the supra pubic region during full bladder.
*Urgency of urination,
*Obstructed urine flow,
*Increased frequency of urination at nights 8-10times,
*Burning urination.

I have suggested for Ultra Sound Scan KUB view and a routine blood test.
USG findings-revealed bilateral Renal calculi of 5mm size and Specks of calcification(calculi?)6.9mm seen adherent to Rt.infero lateral bladder wall with a normal bladder wall thickness.
Routine blood report:

I have referred the patient to the nearby leading Uro-surgeon for expert opinion.
Cystoscopy was done there reported as Trigonal Nodular cystic mass in the bladder.
The patient was advised for biopsy.
The patient refused to do biopsy and pledged the Uro-surgeon for symptomatic relief.
Treatment was done there for a month without any marked improvements except a little pain relief and he was again advised for biopsy.
As the patient was not co-operating for biopsy,the uro-surgeon sent back the patient to me without any proper reply.
The patient was still in trouble.He was not able to tolerate the pain in the lower abdomen and the other symptoms regarding.
The patient requested me for Siddha treatment.
As our Siddha system of medicine have excellent curative methods for Genito-Urinary disorders, I have started treatment to the patient without the biopsy examination.
The patient assured to investigate fully during treatment.
After the first week of treatment,the patient returned me with bright face, and thanked me with confidence.
The intolerable pain he felt for years was reduced more than 60% in the very initial set of treatment.
He continued the treatment for 25 days more.
Wonderful results he has got that his Urine flow came to normal without obstruction and he relieved a lot from his dreadful night frequency of urine.
He shared his joy with me and his family.
I have advised him to do a CT scan KUB region before going for a biopsy.
But, I was so much disturbed when I came to know that the patient has left to Soudhi Arabia and joined to his routine job again not properly informing me.
The real thing is that the patient has relieved symptomatically in the short course of Siddha treatment…but not like to investigate.
The cost for doing that investigation is not at all the factor for not doing that -but it is an usual habit among many of Indians that they don’t like to accept a disease.
Anyway I have missed a proper diagnosis.
The patient is really very lucky,otherwise the existing problem a malignant one [cancer groth].

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a sexual dysfunction characterized by the inability to develop or maintain an erection of the penis.
Erectile dysfunction thus is the inability of a man to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for his sexual needs or the needs of his partner.
Erectile dysfunction is also termed as “impotence”.
An estimated 152 million men worldwide suffer from ED.
In America, alone 30 million men suffer from it.
Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism,Diabetes,High Blood Pressure,Kidney Failure,Multiple Sclerosis,Prostate Cancer,Smoking and ,Stress are commonly known to the causes for ED.

MECHANISM OF ERECTION:

Penis have two chambers named corpora cavernosa which run throughout the organ are filled with spongy tissue.
The corpora cavernosa are surrounded by a membrane, called the tunica albuginea.
The spongy tissue contains smooth muscles, fibrous tissues, spaces, veins, and arteries.
The urethra, which is the channel for urine and semen runs along underside of the corpora cavernosa.
The flow of blood creates pressure in the corpora cavernosa, making the penis expand.
The tunica albuginea helps trap the blood in the chambers, thereby sustaining erection.
When muscles in the penis contract to stop the inflow of blood and open outflow channels, erection recedes.

Penile erection is managed by two different mechanisms.

The first one is the reflex erection, which is achieved by directly touching the penile shaft.
The second is the psychogenic erection, which is achieved by erotic or emotional stimuli.
The former uses the peripheral nerves and the lower parts of the spinal cord, whereas the latter uses the limbic system of the brain.
In both conditions an intact neural system is required for a successful and complete erection.

CAUSES FOR ED:

The causes of erectile dysfunction may be physiological or psychological.
Neurogenic Disorders -spinal cord and brain injuries, nerve disorders such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis,stroke.
Hormonal Disorders -Pituitary gland tumor; low level of the hormone testosterone.
Arterial Disorders -Peripheral vascular disease, hypertension, reduced blood flow to the penis. Cavernosal Disorders Peyronie's disease.
Mental disorders -clinical depression, schizophrenia, substance abuse, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, personality disorders or traits., psychological problems, negative feelings.
Surgery of the colon, prostate, bladder, or rectum may damage the nerves and blood vessels involved in erection.
Prostate and bladder cancer surgery often require removing tissue and nerves surrounding a tumor, which increases the risk for impotence.
Aging-Normal aging process diminishes the mechanism of erection.
Lifestyle -Alcohol and drugs, obesity, cigarette smoking .
Smoking is a key cause of erectile dysfunction.Smoking causes impotence because it promotes arterial narrowing.
Others-Prolonged travel on a bike and or the pressure on the penis is directly related to erectile dysfunction.

INVESTIGATIONS:

There are no formal tests to diagnose erectile dysfunction.
Some blood tests are generally done to exclude underlying disease, such as diabetes, hypogonadism and prolactinoma.
Impotence is also related to generally poor physical health, poor dietary habits, obesity, and most specifically cardiovascular disease such as coronary artery disease and peripheral vascular disease.
Duplex ultrasound,Penile nerves function,Nocturnal penile tumescence (NPT),Penile biothesiometry,Penile Angiogram,Corpus Cavernosometry,Digital Subtraction ,Angiography,Magnetic resonance angiography (MRA)

LABORATORY TESTS:

Blood counts,
urinalysis,
lipid profile,
serum creatinine
liver enzymes,
free testosterone in the blood.

TREATMENT:
Treatment to the ED depends upon the cause.

Oral treatment,
External applications,
Injection,

Psoriasis is a chronic, recurrent, inflammatory skin disease of unknown origin.
It is characterised by well-circumscribed erythematous, dry elevated lesions of various sizes, covered with mica like scales.
It is said to be a disorder of excessive growth and reproduction of skin cells.
Psoriasis affects both sexes equally and can occur at any age, although it most commonly appears for the first time between the ages of 15 and 25 years.

CAUSE:

Specific cause is not found yet,but it is believed to have a genetic component.

AGGRAVATING FACTORS:

These include stress, excessive alcohol consumption, and smoking.
Individuals with psoriasis may suffer from depression and loss of self-esteem.

CLINICAL FEATURES:

Common features of psoriasis include red scaly patches to appear on the skin.
This scaly patches caused by psoriasis is called psoriatic plaques.
These plaques are formed very quickly over the skin and accumulates at these sites like silvery-white appearance.
The common sites where the psoriatic plaques frequently occur are skin of the knees and elbows,but can affect any area including the scalp and genitals.
The disorder is a chronic recurring condition which varies in severity from minor localised patches to complete body coverage.
Finger-nails and toe-nails are frequently affected.Psoriasis can also cause inflammation of the joints, which is known as psoriatic arthritis.

TYPES:

Plaque psoriasis ,
Flexural psoriasis,
Guttate psoriasis, and
Pustular psoriasis,
Erythrodermic psoriasis

are the common forms.

OTHER AFFECTIONS:

Psoriatic arthritis,Psoriatic nails-leading to deformity of joints and nails.

DIAGNOSIS:

A diagnosis of psoriasis is usually based on the appearance of the skin.
There are no special blood tests or diagnostic procedures for psoriasis.
Sometimes a skin biopsy, or scraping, may be needed to rule out other disorders and to confirm the diagnosis.

GRADING SEVERITY:

Psoriasis is usually graded as mild (affecting less than 3% of the body), moderate (affecting 3-10% of the body) or severe.
The Psoriasis Area Severity Index (PASI) is the most widely used measurement tool for psoriasis.

PATENT'S QUALITY OF LIFE:

Beyond the physical sufferings like itching and some pain,Psoriasis patients are also affected mentally due to strain.
Other chronic diseases such as depression, myocardial infarction, hypertension, congestive heart failure or type 2 diabetes are also common among them.
Individuals with psoriasis may also feel self-conscious about their appearance and have a poor self-image that stems from fear of public rejection and psycho sexual concerns.
Psychological distress can lead to significant depression and social isolation.

TREATMENT:

The treatment is based on the type of psoriasis, its location, extent and severity.
The patient’s age, gender, quality of life, commodities, and attitude toward risks associated with the treatment are also taken in to consideration.
Variation between individuals in the effectiveness of specific psoriasis treatments are common.
Because of this, dermatologists often use a trial-and-error approach to find the most appropriate treatment for their patient.
As a first step, medicated ointments or creams, called topical treatments, are applied to the skin.
If topical treatment fails to achieve the desired goal then the next step would be to expose the skin to ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
This type of treatment is called photo therapy.Photo chemotherapy[PUVA] is also related to this.
The third step involves the use of medications which are taken internally by pill or injection.
This approach is called systemic treatment.
The three main traditional systemic treatments are methotrexate, cyclosporine and retinoids.
Antibiotics are not indicated in routine treatment of psoriasis.
However, antibiotics may be employed when an infection, such as that caused by the bacteria Streptococcus, triggers an outbreak of psoriasis, as in certain cases of guttate psoriasis.

TOXICITY:

Patients undergoing systemic treatment are required to have regular blood and liver function tests because of the toxicity due to medication.
Pregnancy must be avoided for the majority of these treatments.

RECURRENCE AND RISK:

Most people experience a recurrence of psoriasis when systemic treatment is discontinued.
Psoriasis is a life-long condition.
There is currently no cure but various treatments can help to control the symptoms.
Many of the most effective agents used to treat severe psoriasis carry an increased risk of significant morbidity including skin cancers, lymphoma and liver disease.

IN SIDDHA SYSTEM:

Psoriasis is known as 'KALANJAGA PADAI NOI' in Siddha system.
It comes under 18 types of skin diseases mentioned in the Siddha literature.
Siddha system calls different varieties of psoriasis by various names.

*Piththa Vedippu,

*Namattu chori,

*Chenthil uthir noi ,

*Yannai chori ,

*Kalanja padai,

*Varal thirambi are some among them.

The famous Siddha Text "Yugi Sindhamani-800" describes a vatha disease "KALANJAGA VATHAM" characterised by pain and swelling over the joints associated with some pealing skin lesions.
Based on this Prof.Dr.RAMANAN,MD(s) named the skin disease as 'KALANJAGA PADAI NOI'.

IN MY CLINICAL PRACTICE:

Psoriasis cases are common in Siddha practice.
Usually the cases I have met are very chronic and challenging.
Resistant cases also seek siddha medicine after getting a very long treatment from Dermatologists.
Before treatment,I use to investigate the patients thoroughly to rule-out for other systemic diseases.
This is very essential for choosing a drug.
The treatment is individualised according to the body constitution and condition of the patient.
We are preparing an "external medicine for psoriasis" in the form of OIL which gives remarkable results.
Initial stage cases respond very well to this external medicine.
Internal medicine is administered to the patients who are chronic and resistant to other drugs.

"FIRE OIL" AN EXTERNAL MIRACLE

Fire oil is a unique preparation of siddha system of medicine
It is commonly used by the siddha physicians and traditional healers
Fire oil preparations are usually very effective due to it's dense concentration.
Internal and external preparations are there in Fire oil.

WHAT IS FIRE OIL?

In Siddha literature it is known as "SUDAR THYLAM".
Minarals of Siddha origin and also flesh of certain animals and birds are used to prepare Fire oil.

MODE OF PREPARATION:

The incredients are finely powdered or crushed in to paste
Adding with ghee or some medicated oil and uniformly spread in a clean white cotton cloth.
Then packed as per rule then tied with a metal rod.
Then it is fired
The medicated oil is then slowly poured slowly on the flaming fire
The final product is collected in a vessol placed under.
The special thing is that each and every drop fo the final product collected is droping as fire from the bundle.

History taking plays the most important step in diagnosing a headache patient.
Primary or Secondary headaches are clearly differentiated by careful history taking.
Headache without other associated diseases or primary headaches include migraine headaches, tension headaches, and cluster headaches.
Headache associated with other disease or secondary headache include serious and life threatening diseases such as meningitis, encephalitis [commonly known as brain fever], cerebral aneurysms, extremely high blood pressure, and brain tumors.

INVESTIGATIONS:

Reading temperature
Complete blood count,
Thyroid function test,
Bleeding&Clotting time,
Brain scans[CT or MRI], and
Lumbar puncture (spinal tap) are the common investigationsto establish these diagnoses

TREATMENT:

Not all headaches require medical attention, and many respond with simple pain killers such as paracetamol or NSAID's(aspirin, ibuprofen,etc)
In recurrent unexplained headaches,the patients are advised to maintain a "headache diary" which carries the type of headache, associated symptoms,precipitating and aggravating factors etc.
Secondary headaches are treated as per the existing associated disease with the help of relevent investigations.

Sinusitis is a very common problem among people nowadays.
Sinusitis is an inflammation of the para nasal sinuses, which may or may not be as a result of infection, from bacterial, fungal, viral, allergic or autoimmune issues.

What is sinus?

Sinuses are hollow air spaces, of which there are many in the human body.
These cavities, located within the skull or bones of the head surrounding the nose.
Frontal sinuses,Ethmoid sinus,Sphenoid sinus,and Maxillary sinus are the commonly known sinuses.

What is a sinus attack?

Any infection or allergic reaction which cause swelling within the nose can affect the sinuses.
The trapped air or pus or secretions within the obstructed sinus may cause pressure on the sinus wall result intense pain some times called SINUS ATTACK.
The swollen membrane at the opening of sinuses which cause a vacuum without air entering in to the sinus also cause pain.

Acute Sinusitis:

Chronic Sinusitis:

Chronic sinusitis refers to inflammation of the sinuses that continues for at least 3 weeks, but often continues for months or even years.

It is somehow difficult to manage with ordinary drugs.

Management in chronic Sinusitis:

Usually the chronic sinusitis patients are treated with antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs during their recurrent attacks.
"Daily hyper tonic saline nasal irrigation improves sinus-related quality of life, decreases symptoms, and decreases medication use in patients with frequent sinusitis,
"For chronic or recurring sinusitis-ENT specialists suggest surgical correction.
However, for most patients the surgical approach is not superior to appropriate medical treatment.
A relatively recent advance in the treatment of sinusitis is a type of surgery called FESS - functional endoscopic sinus surgery.The major advantage in this method is that there is no incision carried out in the face oral cavity.
Another recently developed treatment is Balloon Sinuplasty.Balloons in an attempt to expand the openings of the sinuses in a less invasive manner.

SUCCESSFUL CASE HISTORY "FIBROID UTERUS CURE"

Dear friends

Here with I am sharing my successful experience I have got recently at my clinic.
The patient is 53 years old woman.
She consulted me first time before 1year for her low back pain and severe leg pain.
Medio lataral protrution of Disc at L4-L5 and L5-S1 with nerve root compression in Latarelrecess of S1 was her problem.
She was adviced for surgical correction by an Orthopaedic surgeon.
But she strongly refused surgery in fear with her previous bad experience of 2 cesareans.
For an alternate option only she consulted me.
After deep analysis with her Investigations and clinical parameters,I have treated her with 'Siddha medicine' and Lumbo-sacral traction.
Also advised Lumbo-sacral belt to maintain her spinal stability.
She recovered from pain and other difficulties within 3 months of treatment.
Lumbo-sacral belt was strictly advised as well as Lumbosacral Traction was carried out in regular intervals.
She hasn't did the spinal surgery later and she can then able to do all of her skills without pain with some limitations.

The Gynaecologist advised for removal of uterus in the earliest possible date in order to prevent future complications like progressive blood loss and malignancy.
The patient was highly confident in Siddha medicine and seeked oral medicine for the existing problem in Siddha system.
I have explained her about the real stage of her illness and advised to follow gynaecologist.
But she has not left for surgery and requested me for medical treatment.
After long discussions,I agreed to treat her.
Also instructed her to repeat the Ultra sound scan after 3 months of treatment,and planned to continue the treatment if she get fruitful improvement.

TREATING "URTICARIA" IN SIDDHA MEDICINE...!!!

Urticaria is a skin condition, commonly caused by an allergic reaction, that is characterized by raised red skin welts.
Urticaria can appear anywhere on the body, including the face, lips, tongue, throat, and ears.
It may vary in size from about 5 mm (0.2 inches) in diameter to the size of a dinner plate.
There will be Itching and burning in the affected regions.
Urticaria is generally caused by direct contact with an allergenic substance[allergy due to insects exposure] or an immune response to food or some other allergen.
Emotional stress increases the risk of urticarial lesions.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING URTICARIAL ATTACK:

The skin lesions of urticarial disease are caused by an inflammatory reaction in the skin, causing leakage of capillaries in the skin layer causing oedema.
The oedema is lasting until the interstitial fluid is absorbed into the surrounding cells.
Urticarial disease is thought to be caused by the release of histamine and other mediators of inflammation (cytokines) from cells in the skin.

AGGRAVATING FACTORS:

Tomatoes, strawberries, strong cheese,dark fish,dry fish,chicken and fermented foods directly affect this problem.
Although these 'pseudo-allergens' aren't the primary cause of urticaria, they do tend to aggravate it.
Viral infections aggravate urticarial attack also initiate in some instances.
Anxiety and tension also aggravate urticaria some times.

COMPLICATIONS:

In more serious cases when swelling occurs inside the mouth or throat, complications can include difficulty breathing leading to a loss of consciousness.
Severe urticaria may be noticed in ''ANAPHYLACTIC SHOCK'' which is a serious allergic reaction involving the heart or lungs.
In such condition,bronchial tubes become narrow causing difficult to breath.Blood pressure drops causing dizziness,loss of consciousness or even death. Anaphylactic shock occurs rapidly, and requires immediate medical care.

URTICARIA TREATMENT IN MODERN MEDICINE:

Skin specialists say that treating urticaria is difficult.Treatment procedure include

1.Avoiding known allergens

2.Anti histamines

3.Anti pruritic preparations

4.Cortico steroids.

MY PERSONAL VIEW:

Urticaria cases are common in my clinical practice.
When a patient come to my clinic, I use to explain about the disease and also about the treatment options to the patient.
If necessary I use to send the patient to a proper dermatologist.Usually patients who seek Siddha medicine for urticaria have a long history of previous medication.
Most of the patients are resistant to anti-allergic drugs and even some of them resistant to corticosteroids.
"Speedy recovery" will be the expectation of each and every patient...no doubt.
New urticaria patients usually not co-operating with Siddha physician because they expect complete cure within few days.
They don't know about the seriousness of the disease and the line of treatment.
Not like that,"chronic patients" who have previous experience in treatment, co-operate fully with siddha physician.

The line of treatment for urticaria include 3 steps.

1.Clearing Gastro Intestinal Tract with mild herbal laxatives and vermifuge.

2.Internal medicine for severe allergic reactions which contain purified sulphur and minarals.

ALL -RECTAL - PROBLEMS ARE NOT ''PILES...!!!'' BEWARE OF ABUSERS

Piles or Hemorrhoids are varicosity or swelling and inflammation of veins in the rectum and anus.

CAUSES:

Hemorrhoid include genetic pre disposing(weak rectal vein walls and or valves).
Excessive strain during passing motion,and too much pressure on the rectal veins due to poor muscle tone causing hemorrhoids.
Sitting for a prolonged periods of time can cause hemorrhoids.
Hypertension particularly in the portal vein causing haemorrhoid(ex:patients with Cirrhosis of Liver).
Recurrent constipation or Diarrhoea may cause hemorrhoids.
Pregnancy causes haemorrhoid due to the pressure over the rectal vein.
Excessive consumption of alcohol or caffeine can cause hemorrhoids.

Based on the severity of piles ,it is classified in to 4 degrees.

First degree Piles: Piles that bleed but do not bulge out of the anal opening.
Second degree Piles: In the early stage the piles may prolapse during the passage of stool but they recede (draw back) on their own.
Third degree Piles: As the disease progresses the piles do not recede back on their own and have to be replaced by hand.
Fourth degree Piles: In still advanced cases the Piles may prolapse anytime of the day (i.e. even without passage of stool) especially if the person is tired or exerts himself. These Piles remain permanently prolapsed.
IN SIDDHA SYSTEM:

In Siddha system ,Hemorrhoids are called "MOOLA NOI".
In Siddha literatures, 21-types of Hemorrhoids are explained in detail.
Among the 21 types,9 of them are said to be "not curable".
Not curable means that these types not respond to oral medicines.
For such cases surgical methods were carried out in the siddha system.
Some specialised instruments like 'probe' and 'proctoscope' were used by the very old siddha surgeons.
Even now siddha surgical procedure is practiced in some places of Tamilnadu and Kerala of south India.
A medicated 'thread' called KAARA NOOL (OR) corrosive thread is the main part of Siddha surgical method for Piles.
In the Government Ayurveda Medical College of Trivandrum,this "corrosive thread" method is practiced daily today.
This medicated thread cuts the pile mass and the waste materials around the affected region and then the surgical ulcer is healed with external medicines.
Piles as well as Fistulas are being treated with this special technique.

IN MY PERSONAL VIEW:

In my clinical practice,I am treating a lot of piles patients daily.
Patients are treated only with oral medications and no more surgical procedure is carried out here.
Bleeding piles cases (1st degree) respond very well with oral medicines.
Rectal bleeding is arrested very quickly even in the second day.
The treatment is continued for at least 40days.
Patients with First degree and Second degree piles are treated successfully with oral medicines.
Severe pain and rectal irritation come to control fully within a month.
All of that patients are satisfactorily treated and they are totally free from their irritating symptoms after treatment.
Constipation is then managed with die tics and simple Siddha bowel regulators.
But in the 3rd and 4th degree cases, oral drug action is not satisfactory and so I use to refer the patients to surgical experts for further managements.
Anal fissures are also treated successfully in siddha medicine.

SPECIAL ADVICE TO THE PILES PATIENTS:

Patients are strictly advised to drink plenty of oral fluids.[2-3 liters approx daily]
Chilly,fried foods,non-vegetarian items,alcohol & smoking are advised to avoid fully.
Patients are advised to take fibre foods like vegetables and fruits for easy & smooth bowel.Prolonged sitting in a particular position is to be avoided.

"BEWARE....!!"

Patients should be very careful about the advertisements like "CURE FOR PILES IN 3 DAYS".
All of the rectal problems are not Piles.
All of the problem related to piles can't be cured by medicines.

Nowadays many patients of various age groups suffer with "Chronic cough"

What is Osteoarthritis?

Osteoarthritis is a common type of arthritis that is caused by the breakdown and loss of the cartilage of one or more joints.
Cartilage is a protein substance that serves as a "cushion" between the bones of the joints
Osteoarthritis is also known as degenerative arthritis.
Osteoarthritis commonly affects the large weight-bearing joints, such as the hips and knees.Hands, feet & spine also affected.
Primary osteoarthritis is arthritis which have no known cause.
When the cause of the osteoarthritis is known, the condition is referred to as secondary osteoarthritis.
Osteoarthritis of the knees is often associated with obesity or a history of repeated injury.
The most common symptom of osteoarthritis is pain in the affected joint(s) after repetitive use.
Joint pain is usually worse later in the day.
There can be swelling, warmth, and creaking of the affected joints.

Leucorrhoea or leucorrea, vaginal discharge is a universal problem of all women.
Usually the normal secretions are slimy and slightly sticky. It is something like nasal secretion.
The vaginal secretions varries throughout the menstrualcycle peaking at ovulation and also increasing when under emotional stress.
In most of the cases it is not significant.
It should be noticed if the discharge is 'blood stained' or yellowish in colour.
'Blood stained' discharge indicates pelvic inflamatory diseases or some serious malignant diseases.Yelloish discharge indicates some infection.
Itching in the external genital region and offensive odour in the vaginal discharge also indicate some infection in the tract.
Any way thorough investigation should be done in certain conditions.
Untreated excessive vaginal discharge may lead to Pelvic InflamatoryDisease(PID) which is a chronic Utrene problem.

IN MY CLINICAL PRACTICE

Lot of patients,with excessive vaginal discharge of different age groups are being treated in my clinic.
First of all they are grouped in to Infective and Non-infective cases.
Usually non-infective type is easily treated by special Siddha formulations.
Siddha cooling agents,Haemetenics,Immuno modulators,Health promoting agents are administered accordingto the condition in non-infective cases.
In Infective cases and PID cases,strong anti microbial agents are administered as per Siddha literatures.
Both of the cases respond very well in Siddha treatment,but longer duration of medication is needed in the chronic infective cases.
They may need 3 to 6 months duration for a satisfactory result.

ADVICE TO THE PATIENT

Patients are adviced to take enriched timely food.
Foods like 'Dry fish','Pickle' and hardly digested items are to be avoided.
Personal hygene should be maintained without fail.

Dandruff is a common hair problem characterised by itching & scalling of white skin peals from the scalp.
Dandruff is made up of small pieces of dead skin that peel from the scalp as a result of the effects of metabolism.
The sufferers feel discomfort in the public placesand among friends as an 'image problem'
There is still controversy in the modern research scholers whether dandruff is caused by 'fungus' or by 'excessive sebum production of the scalp'.
Exact reason for this problem is not declared yet.
Hormonal imbalance, poor health,poor hygiene,lack of rest,emotional stress,excessive consumption of sugar, fat, starch,improper nutrition,heredity predisposition are all said to be the cause for DANDRUFF.
In fact, there is no established relationship between dandruff and loss of hair.

Kidney stones are small, solid masses formed when salts or minerals normally found in urine become solid crystals inside the kidney.

Kidney stones are one of the most common disorders of the urinary tract and most painful condition of the urological disorders.

They are usually painless when in the kidney but can cause severe pain as they travel from the kidneys to the bladder.

An attack of this pain is called renal or ureteric colic.

Kidney stone is a chronic disorder.

It is usually silent for many years and suddenly causing it's typical pain which is excruciating.

The clinical signs include-severe pain in the back,sudden abdominal spasms of pain,blood with urine,cloudy urine,increased frequency of urine,burning urination,fever and chills.

The symptoms related Kidney stones differ with the location whether the stone is situated.

The stone may be in the KIDNEYS,URETER,BLADDER,URETHRA etc.

Calcium stones,Uric acid stones,Cysteine stones and Phosphate stones are commonly seen.

Men are more prone than women, and around half of all people who had a kidney stone previously, will develop another stone within five years.

Drugs like ''diuretics'',''antacids''and ''thyroid medications'', may induce kidney stones

Eating a very high protein diet,Not drinking sufficient oral fluids,Regular dehydration(starvation also excessive sweating),Prolonged bed rest are also play important role in the stone formation.

Treatment for Kidney stones in modern medicine include the following procedures such as Extracorporeal shock wavelithotripsy (ESWL),Ureteroscopic stone removal,Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL).

In Siddha system of medicine Kidney stone is called as ''KALLADAIPPU NOI''.

Siddha literature deals a lot about the origin of the disease and it's treatment.Preventive and curative treatments are separately dealt in the Siddha texts.

IN MY CLINICAL PRACTICE.......!!!

I have treated a lot of Kidney stone patients successfully by Siddha medicine.

5mm size to 14mm stones were treated.

Each and every patient is investigated thoroughly.X-Ray(KUB),Ultra Sound Scanning(USG) of abdomen and pelvis,Urine analysis,Blood Tests, and relevant investigations are done in the patients and then treatment is given.

After a course of at least 3 months, Ultrasound test is repeated and the other tests are carried as per the condition.

RESULTS:

In all of the cases, even in Grade-2 or Grade-3 'hydronephrosis'- rapid symptomatic relief is got within 3 to 5 days.

Hydronephrosis become normal within 20 days in majority of cases.

USG was repeated in 20 days in such cases with hydronephrosis and the clinical findings were observed closely to prevent serious complications like Uraemia etc.

All of the cases were successfully treated and 'totally free' from their previous complaints.

USG revealed normal reports in the later studies.

It's a amazing truth....!!!

I was failed in one patient out of all.

The case,had stone in the lower Pelvis with 8 mm stone....which was not able to come out even after 5 months of treatment.

But the good thing is that the patient have not suffered due to further pain attack.

All of the patients were advised to take plenty of water (3 to 4 Ltrs/day) in their routine life to prevent further stone formation.

It's my kind advise that PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW the success rate of this case in SIDDHA and when ever surgery is indicated in such stones,don't neglect to try Siddha Medicine.......!!!

This is my own experience in treating alcohol addicts with Herbal De-addiction drug at my clinic.
I am sincerely sharing you about the drug action and the changes observed in my patients.

MODE OF ADMINISTRATION:

The drug is in the form of ''powder'', and administered by mixing the drug with food particles,with or without the knowledge of patient.
The patients who come voluntarily to stop alcohol by themselves,are getting very rapid results.
They are advised to take the medicine regularly in the morning with milk or any health drink.
''Curry'',''Chudney'',''Coffee"' & ''Tea'' are the common vehicles for administration usually in the patients who are taking the drug without their knowledge.
No taste or smell is felt in the drug and it is the only great advantage in the cases who are being treated indirectly.
If the patient consume alcohol during treatment,vomiting or some unpleasant feeling occurs.
The family members or the person who is responsible to the patient is already explained about this difficulty.
After few days of drug administration, the patient use to leave their alcoholic friends and get a tendency to go their home in time.
This tendency is observed mostly in all of the cases.
Gradually in a short period of 7 to 10 days,the patient withdraw alcohol completely.
In this time, patient feels very tired and seek the reason for tiredness.Actually the reason of tiredness is due to the absence of alcohol in the circulation.
The patient is advised to take additional foods like FRUIT JUICES & VEGETABLE SOUP to maintain the energy balance.
The respondent of the patient is strictly advised not to open the secret of giving drug to him.It will collapse all the above positive results.

COURSE OF TREATMENT:

A minimum period of 3 months without fail is advised for very good results.
Even then the drug may be continued with intervals to get the maximum performance.

RESULTS:

More than 90% result is experienced in my patients.
Few patients who are not getting drugs regularly as prescribed are consuming alcohol later.... but not as past.

Untreated childhood joint disease such as Rheumatic arthritis is one of the major cause for many heart valve surgeries in our country.
Rheumatic Arthritis is a bacterial disease which can occur followed by an untreated Group A streptococcal (bacterial)throat infection.
Usual victims are children aging 6 to12 years.
In acute attacks pain is severe,and the patient is not able to walk even to the toilet.
After a severe painful attack, a period of full recovery is felt by the patient for some months or years and even some patients forget their previous severe painful attack
.In this silent period,the disease is developing within the body and slowly damages HEART mainly the valves.

Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disorder which affects all systems of our body, if it is not treated or managed in right way.

A case of "Chronic Cervicitis" 29yrs/Female with a 'Nabothian cyst' in the CERVIX-UTERUS, consulted me 3 months back at my Clinic, without any cofidence in treatment,that she was advised for removal of Uterus earlier.She was suffering from a regular lower abdomen pain with severe pain during menstruation.
